Air Serbia unveils its updated image atВ Sheremetyevo Airport
On June 4, Sheremetyevo International Airport and Air Serbia held a joint event as part of a campaign devoted to the air carrier’s rebranding and the presentation of new services.
The executives of Air Serbia held meetings with the representatives of ticketing agencies. The presentation took place at the conference hall of the Sheremetyevo Airport Museum. During the presentation, guests got acquainted with the recent changes and innovations in the air carrier’s style and services. The company’s aircraft fleet was dramatically modernized —previously-operated aircrafts of the Boing-737 type were replaced with new aircraft of the Airbus A-320 type. Significant changes were also made in business class cabins. The new, wider seats have made flying much more comfortable. The in-flight meal menu was also overhauled — the range of dishes and beverages was noticeably broadened. Moreover, the employees’ corporate look has been rebranded — the uniform of Air Serbia’s flight attendants has become much brighter and more elegant.
Representatives of Sheremetyevo Airport, in turn, treated guests to a presentation of the airport’s further development plans, plans on the construction of a new Terminal B with an annual capacity of 15 million passengers and terminal-to-terminal tunnels under the airfield, and relayed information on new services and possibilities for passengers.
A guided tour inside an actual Airbus A-320 was the undisputed highlight of the event. Guests were able to see all of the advantages of the updated design for themselves and, of course — try the new service opportunities offered by the airline.
Air Serbia is a Serbian airline based in Belgrade. On November 1, Air Serbia became part of the Etihad Group of companies, the United Arab Emirates. During rebranding activities, on October 26, 2013, the former name of the company (JAT — Jugoslovenski Aerotransport) was changed to Air Serbia.
